Genius Hour

St. James is excited to o ffer students the opportunity to pursue passion projects during Genius Hour, an inquiry-based, student-directed learning experience where students may explore ideas, interests, ask and ans wer research questions... in short, follow their curiosity to wherever it may lead! Loosely structured, but teacher-supported, Genius Hour time allows students to choose how they approach their study and how to best create a final presentation or result. As a learning model, it promotes inquiry, research, creativity, and self-directed learning.
