Vision of Hope

A Message from Ann Magovern

Dear Friends,

This year we celebrate another year of making miracles, which began with the historic 1995 vote by the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose to ensure the future of eight Catholic elementary schools serving students in urban neighborhoods of Los Angeles, San Francisco and Oakland.

Through the support of many through financial generosity, prayers, and faithful belief in Catholic education, Vision of Hope has become a leader in funding Catholic education for underserved and low-income children and their families.

The Dominican Sisters have made Catholic education for the poor a priority. Today, our eight schools continue to serve families who face enormous financial pressures yet desire Catholic education for their children. Vision of Hope has unlocked the doors of Catholic education for many of these families. We are thankful to those that continue to be a part of this vision.
